The Forster Family Kosher Food Pantry delivers non-perishable groceries, some fresh fruits and vegetables and challah every other week free of charge to people experiencing serious financial difficulties. Founded in 1996, the Food Pantry was established to ensure that no individual or family in our community goes hungry.
The Food Pantry's mission is to help alleviate the burden of hunger so that those in our community who are experiencing this challenge can direct their efforts towards improving their situation. Providing for those who are lacking the means to afford basic necessities is also the essence of Tzedakah, which asks us to help those in need live with more dignity and comfort.
