The following is an informational release from Ruth Rales describing the project: Location Ruth Rales Jewish Family Service (RRJFS) has obtained approximately an acre of land on the grounds of Temple Anshei Shalom on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach . Building A 22,000sf building will be built on the parcel of land obtained by RRJFS. This state-of-the-art facility will be uniquely tailored for the wealth of programs offered by Ruth Rales Jewish Family Service. The facility will feature large, flexible program rooms designed to be quickly configurable to meet the needs of any program.
The building will also feature a café that will serve as a casual gathering place for clients and visitors alike to socialize and share a cup of coffee or other refreshment in an open, relaxed atmosphere. We have contracted with Land Design South for land planning and permitting. At this point, we are in the midst of the zoning permitting process. Typically, this is when county and community concerns regarding parking, traffic, and the nature of services to be provided from the facility are addressed. The staff at Land Design South has an intimate understanding of the zoning and permitting process, and are an invaluable ally in negotiating this sometimes difficult terrain. After zoning approval, the next step in the process is to have the building permitted and approved for construction. The projections are that we will be able to put a ceremonial shovel in the ground in mid-June, 2008, with an estimated completion date in the first quarter of 2010. We are working with the architectural firm of Stofft & Associates and should have preliminary plans available in the second quarter of 2008. Programs
