They’ve shared entertainment, speakers, theater trips and a cruise. They’ve discussed current events and eaten bagels. They’ve knitted & crocheted blankets for children with cancer, made hats for disabled veterans, and even been on a day cruise. Ruth Rales Jewish Family Service’s Feldman Family Diamond Club participants are as young as 75 and as old as 101. And on June 28, they celebrated the season’s last weekly gathering at Temple Emeth in Delray Beach. The event honored Diamond Club founders Sandy and Joe Klein for more than 30 years of dedication to the program. (31 photos)

The Feldman Family Diamond Club's older seniors enjoyed a very special day together on June 25. Their day cruise was clearly a highlight of their year, which includes weekly social, educational and crafts programming. A program of Ruth Rales Jewish Family Service that engages 100 seniors from 75 to 101, the Diamond Club is sponsored by Diane and Larry Feldman. (20 photos)

Nearly 400 Holocaust survivors from 10 countries enjoyed a special afternoon at the June 2 Café Europa. Seated with others from their countries of origin, they enjoyed music from Shlomo Geva and heard from speakers including Congressman Ted Deutch, County Commissioner Burt Aaronson, State Rep Maria Sachs, former State Rep Irv Slosberg and RRJFS Holocaust Advisory Board Chair Sam Flapan. On March 23rd, over 200 recipients of varied services at RRJFS enjoyed a meaningful holiday celebration at the annual Passover Model Seder. This event was made possible by the generous contributions of Boca West, Addison Reserve as well as a number of anonymous donors in our community. (11 photos)
