The Polo Club’s Community Relations Committee and fellow Polo Club members are proud to provide Ruth Rales Jewish Family Service with a contribution of more than $5,300 to support the Gift Cards for Kids program. The program was created by The Polo Club member, Joy Goldstein, in conjunction with Ruth Rales Jewish Family Service to provide local children with gift cards for the holidays.  The gift cards from Walmart or Target are used to purchase necessary items like clothing and school supplies. “

Involvement with Jewish Family Service made me realize that in the 300 families they are helping to support, there were many young children and teens lacking the basic necessities to attend school such as notebooks, paper, pencils and sneakers. Knowing how fortunate I am to be able to live at The Polo Club, I decided to begin a December Cards for Kids drive at the club to raise funds for Ruth Rales to purchase these cards,” said Joy Goldstein.

This is the sixth year The Polo Club has been an active part of the Cards for Kids program and has collected more than $30,000.
