Drive a senior in need of transportation in your own automobile to a medical appointment, supermarket, hairdresser, etc. Scheduled with a dispatcher based upon need and your availability. Drivers must have a clean driving record.
Volunteer drivers are reimbursed at $.50 a mile on a monthly basis. Volunteer drivers must hold a valid drivers license and produce a clear motor vehicle driving history. Background checks are conducted on all volunteer drivers. Monthly training/supervision meetings are an integral part of volunteer service.
